This week is our Third Thursday networking meetup. We are excited to have this one IN PERSON!

Since the library is not yet open for meeting rooms, we are having our meetup at Middlegrounds metropark. We had one there last year. There is a large covered shelter area at the back of the park which is a good place to have an outdoor, socially distanced event. The time is also longer so if you want to come early or stop later, just come and say hi!

How’s the writing or filmmaking/planning going? The long winter and cold spring are finally coming to an end, summer is upon us. This year it feels like we may be able to gain a sense of normality as Covid numbers have been falling, restrictions are lifting.

There are many local film premieres this year in the Toledo area. So happy to be hearing about local filmmakers (some in our group) collaborating and communicating with each other. It is important for us to work together and help one another especially in the challenging year it has been, as if independent film isn’t challenging enough right? We all have a similar love for movies which brings us to the same table.
