As the days get shorter and we spend more time indoors, it’s the perfect time to buckle down and dive back into writing or rewriting that feature or pilot! What do you plan to write this fall and winter? If you make a plan, you are more likely to follow through, so make a promise to yourself to do it!
At the August meetup we had an influx of new writers! Happy to welcome new people, we can all learn something from our varied perspectives, that’s how we all grow.

Currently in post-production on our film Old West End. Give it a follow on Facebook, we plan to have a local screening in October. May the editing gods be with us 😉
September 25th KinoDrome Film Festival in Cleveland will play the first film from Glass City Screenwriters, The Choice. This collaboration from a few years ago won awards and played many festivals, it’s nice to share it with another audience of filmmakers.
Finally, the Tree City Film Festival is November 5th in Sylvania, Ohio. They will show the films created in September as part of the film challenge. Some members of our group submitted scripts for their Shorties U program to use. On November 5th at the fest, they will announce which script they picked for the students to film next year! Goodluck everyone who submitted.
