Here in Toledo we are at peak fall colors and the chill in the air has set in. Perfect weather to write a new screenplay!

Our next regular meetup is finally back at the Oregon Public Library. It has been close to two years since our last meeting at the library! Third Saturday November 20th 1:30-3:30 pm 3340 Dustin Road in Oregon. It will be so nice to be in a location where we can do a proper table reading. Bring a short script or pilot if you have one to read.

The Driskill, Austin, TX

Austin Film Festival held in October every year is a mecca for writers. It is called The Writer’s Festival for a reason.

Glass City Screenwriter Virginia Shine made the trip to the conference/festival this year. She will share her experiences at the next meetup which includes entering a pitch contest, how exciting! This festival is attended by some of the most prolific writers in film and television/streaming and is a bucket list for anyone who wants to grow and make the connections needed to break in.

Trying new things, here is a limited invite link to our Discord

One last thing, our short film Whiskey Neat is playing for free on Nosferatu film fest site. If you like it please log in and vote for it! Below is a picture of the award we won at Kinodrome in Cleveland.

Have a productive November, and Happy Thanksgiving!
