June 2022

The start of summer in Ohio is like a ticking clock for filmmakers. Do you want to get something made while the weather is nice? Summer goes by in a flash and time waits for no one!

Vacations, family get-togethers, weather too nice to stay inside. These things all contribute to a smaller group meetup in the summer. We get it, but it’s only one day in a month and we love seeing everyone. Don’t forget about your writing, just use something splash resistant to write with at the pool

All submissions are in for Tree City, goodluck to those who submitted.

The June meetup is Saturday June 18th at 1:00pm at Oregon Library. We plan to learn how to use the Readthrough website to upload a script to read or record actors reading it. From the makers of WriterDuet, it’s a really nifty program.

One more thing.CommUNITY film festival is looking for a few people to help out with editing and post production for the filmmakers who created films in this very uplifting fest. Click the link to find out more about the fest and if you can help contact reelfilmtoledo@gmail.com.
